Die Gentrifizierung bin Ich - Beichte eines Finsterling is a feature-length documentary directed by Thomas Hammerli and produced by ICAN Films.

We shot this movie on architecture and city planning mostly in Sao Paolo and in Tiflis (Georgia). As there is also quite a lot of personal footage shot by the director on consumer devices, we decided to compose well-balanced static pictures to allow the viewer to rest and understand the spatial relationships and the intentions of the architects. So, even when we had people talking, we really left some room in the frame around them.
