Silence of Sirens

SILENCE OF SIRENS is Gazmend Nela's second feature film and was produced by Ikonë Films in coproduction with Skopje Film Studio, Albasky and Alva Film from Geneva. We shot with the Mini LF. This was my first Large Format project, and I think that the space rendition that is possible with this format was ideal to compose the images of this movie. We shot around Pristina in 2022 with a mixed crew from Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania. The movie had its premiere at Sao Paolo International Filmfestival in October 2023.
