JEUNE HOMME

JEUNE HOMME is a successful comedy produced by T&C Films and directed by Christoph Schaub. Sebastian, a young man from German-speaking Switzerland, heads to the French-speaking part of the country to work as an au pair, where he soon finds himself caught up not just in chores, but in the chaos of family life — and in the unexpected discovery of love. At the Dumoulins’, his host family, things are anything but quiet.

We shot the film on 35mm in a classical style, using light, color, and different film stocks to emphasize the contrast between Sebastian’s subdued family life in his village and the vibrant, lively environment he discovers near Geneva
